The media is still doing this to this very day, while the divide between the rich and the poor continues to grow. I think this is good advice for all. Just take a break from social media or the 24/7 news cycle for just a week, if not a weekend. That alone will likely recharge most people back to relative normalcy. The idea is the same as taking a vacation after stressed from work. Remove your stressors and you are ultimately less manipulated by your boss or society.

I think you’re definitely exaggerating. I don’t really watch CNN much at all, but the You in danger girl whoopI shirt but in fact I love this times that I have (maybe twice a year), have never had any propaganda. They’ll put their 2 cents in, but it’s usually pretty obvious it’s an opinion and not factual. That being said, I don’t really think CNN, Fox or really TV news will last the test of time. My understanding is that the people who watch it consistently are boomers and not really anyone else. Their views will plummet in 20 years. A few months back I got into the news. I only liked CNN better than Fox because of its format. Keep it mind I mostly watched it for background noise. I think it’s just older people stuck in their ways. I don’t think most millennials and younger do. Regardless of left or right I think most younger people watch alternative media and occasionally will watch clips from mainstream media just to see what kind of BS they’re talking about .
